De Bacci Noble Family was cordially invited as Guest of Honour to join the BitBasel 5th Anniversary Celebration with The Future of the Arts, held at the iconic Sagamore Hotel during the Miami Art Week.
This December, BitBasel, Miami’s pioneering platform bridging art and technology, marked its fifth anniversary during Miami Art Week 2024 with a transformative celebration of the Future of the Arts, as covered by the L’ETAGE Magazine.
The one-week long exquisite celebration brought together top artists, creators, tech innovators, investors and collectors from all over the globe to explore how artificial intelligence, blockchain, Web3, and digital assets are revolutionizing the creative landscape.
This milestone event was headlined by Eternal Creations, an extraordinary collection of seven pure silver sculptures from Michelangelo Buonarroti’s original masterpieces, a snapshot of an 87-piece collection, which was complemented by a pure gold and pure platinum collection. These one-of-a-kind works were crafted using the original negative molds preserved by Florence’s historic Fonderia Artistica Ferdinando Marinelli, entrusted by Pope Pius XI before World War II to safeguard the Vatican’s priceless art treasures.
Unveiled for the first time at Miami Art Week, these masterpieces were authenticated by their direct lineage to Michelangelo’s originals, offering collectors and enthusiasts a rare glimpse of history reimagined. Highlights of the collection included Pietà, Battle of the Centaurs, Madonna of the Stairs, Pitti Tondo, Taddei Tondo, Silver David, and Belvedere Torso.
This historic collection, exclusively represented by Treasure Investments and distributed through the MOA Gallery on Ocean Drive, was displayed in the Sagamore Hotel lobby, offering a blend of classical heritage and contemporary luxury.
BitBasel amplified its relevance in the digital age as the official technology partner for the Eternal Creations collection. By digitizing and tokenizing representations of these extraordinary sculptures, BitBasel offered an innovative way to engage with and collect this historical artwork, ultimately connecting the physical and digital worlds.
Beyond the exclusive Michelangelo exhibition, BitBasel Miami featured a robust lineup of events designed to inspire and engage audiences.
Attendees had the privilege to enjoy thought-provoking panel discussions, hands-on workshops, immersive digital art showcases, Web3 startup presentations, unforgettable space-themed party, and the Iconic Sagamore Brunch.
As one of the most sought-after invites of the year, the Sagamore Brunch consistently delivers the gold standard of the Miami Art Week experience with numerous art activations, live art, fashion shows, NFT displays, performances by the South Florida Symphony, gourmet catering by Paul, passed cocktails, mixology stations and more. Historically, the Sagamore Brunch has been a signature event for the elite of the international art world, including collectors, dealers and artists.
Besides that, De Bacci Noble Family especially enjoyed the Guardians of the Reef, an event focused on exploring art’s role in sustainability and impact related to ocean conservation, and Family Office Forum Beyond A.I., where investors and decision makers came together to discuss how artificial intelligence is transforming the world of art and technology.
“I was truly honoured to be invited to speak at this historic event. It is delightful to see so many intelligent, talented and influential people come together to inspire others to use creativity for positive change. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Mr Stephan Morris for inviting our Family to BitBasel 2024. We look forward to our fruitful collaboration in the upcoming year!”
