De Bacci Capital hosted an exclusive fundraising reception for EXARTA, a UK tech startup, in Dubai.

Rashid Ali and Qasim Tabrez, Founders of EXARTA, presented a unique opportunity to invest in evolution of the immersive web, with its innovative products, Odyssey 3D and Zeniva. 

Taken place at one of the most elite restaurants in the Dubai International Financial Centre, the event was attended by a vetted group of angel investors, private equity funds, venture capital firms and family offices from De Bacci Capital’s network.

The investor presentation was followed by a luxurious dinner prepared by a Michelin-star chef.

About the Founders:

Rashid brings over 22 years of tech sector expertise. He has played a key role in launching numerous tech vendors in the EMEA region, specialising in go-to-market strategies, business development, and digital transformation. Rashid’s career spans Industry 4.0 and cybersecurity, with significant achievements in growing business units from start-ups to multi- million-dollar ventures, and partnerships with top vendors like Carbon Black, Fortinet, and Watchguard. Most recently, Rashid consulted for Wallix, expanding their presence in the UK and Nordics and leading a €10 million global project for a major car manufacturer. He holds an MBA and has a strong interest in cryptocurrency and mixed reality.

Qasim began his tech career over 25 years ago in IT recruitment, serving as Sales Director for an international firm. He worked with US tech start-ups like Yahoo and Google, and leading software companies such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, and Microsoft. Since then, Qasim has consulted across diverse sectors including recruitment, logistics, insurance, and prop-tech. His extensive experience spans design, sales, marketing, technology, and operations. Passionate about emerging technologies, particularly Virtual and Augmented Reality, Qasim thrives in start-up environments.
